He specializes in emerging technology, faculty scholarship preservation, and teaches Legal Technology & AI in Law Practice, as well as co-teaching Advanced Legal Research.

Jordan Turk, Smokeball

Jordan is a Texas attorney and Legal Technology Advisor at Smokeball, specializing in family law, including complex property division, custody disputes, appeals, and prenuptial agreements. Passionate about legal tech’s impact on firms, she transitioned from high-asset family law practice to help revolutionize automation in legal workflows.

Spencer X Smith, AmpliPhi

Spencer is a tech investor, consultant, and educator known for simplifying complex topics. Through his company AmpliPhi, he has worked with legal industry clients since 2015 and advises companies like PIMCO on AI strategies.

Ben Schorr

Ben is the author of several books and articles on technology including “The Lawyer’s Guide to Microsoft Outlook”, “The Lawyer’s Guide to Microsoft Word” and “OneNote in One Hour”. He was a Microsoft MVP for 20 years and involved with management and technology for more than 30, including in-house at law firms in Los Angeles and Honolulu.
