Description

With its rapid proliferation and seemingly infinite possibilities, generative artificial intelligence (GAI) is already changing the practice of law. GAI-powered chatbots and virtual assistants are enabling firms to offer 24/7 access to information about their services or answers to basic legal questions. GAI can draft standard legal documents, speed up electronic discovery and research, and in some cases, it can predict litigation outcomes. But while GAI offers improved efficiency and accuracy, it also raises complex ethical concerns that paralegals and supervising attorneys must know how to spot and address.
